What happens after you order, how long the forge takes, and when it lands.
Made by hand in the Czech Republic
Every knife, axe and sword we sell is handmade in the Czech Republic, by workshops that still work the old way, by hand rather than on an automated line. We import the pieces and check them over in Memphis before they go out.
Processing runs 1 to 2 weeks. Then it ships from our warehouse at 3733 Lamar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, and lands in another 3 to 7 days. Shipping is free inside the United States on most pieces, with a flat charge on the heavier and oversized ones, and it is a flat duty paid rate everywhere else. The figures are in the table below. The stock is already in the country, so US orders pay no import duty and wait for no customs clearance.
You get a tracking number by email the moment it leaves us. If a piece fails inspection it does not ship, we send another one instead. That is occasionally why an order runs a few days long.
The timeline
Day 0, the order lands
Confirmation email straight away. You have 12 hours to change the address, the engraving, or cancel outright.
Week 1 to 2, it is prepared
Your piece is pulled, unwrapped, inspected and oiled in Memphis. Any engraving or rune work is cut here in the United States at the end, once the piece has passed.
Dispatch from Memphis
Oiled, sheathed, boxed and handed to the carrier. Tracking email the same day.
3 to 7 days, it arrives
Signature is not required. If it has not moved in 5 days, email us and we chase the carrier for you.

Ransack Viking pays the import duty and the VAT on every international order. You pay the price on the site plus the shipping figure shown, and nothing at all on delivery. No customs invoice, no handling fee, no parcel held at a depot until you settle something. Those are the only shipping figures on this site and every one of them is live in the checkout now.
Blades cannot be shipped everywhere. A few countries and some US municipalities restrict certain lengths or types, if yours does, we will email you and refund in full rather than let it be seized.
