Damascus Pattern in Wearable Form

The same layered 1095/15N20 billets we forge into blades, worked down into rings, pendants and chains. Etching brings out the flowing light-and-dark pattern, so every piece carries a figure unique to the billet it came from — including Mjölnir hammers, arrowheads, spearheads and plain bands.

Wearing and Caring for Damascus

Damascus steel is carbon steel, so it patinas and can spot if left wet. Dry it after contact with water and give it an occasional wipe of light oil. Rings are usually finished with an interior liner for comfort; check each product page for the specification.

Damascus Steel Jewelry FAQ

Will a Damascus ring rust on my finger?

It can spot if worn wet for long periods. Dry it after showering or swimming and oil it occasionally. Lined rings are more forgiving than unlined ones.

Is the pattern etched on or all the way through?

All the way through. The pattern is the layered steel itself — etching only reveals it. It cannot wear off, though a deep scratch will need re-etching to blend in.

Can Damascus jewelry be resized?

Generally no. Resizing disturbs the layer structure and the etch, so we recommend confirming your size before ordering.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Damascus contains no nickel plating, but it is a carbon steel alloy. If you react to base metals, choose a lined ring.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are inspected and dispatched from Memphis, TN within 1–2 weeks, with US delivery typically taking a further 3–7 business days.
