This authentic weathered Viking shield is a handcrafted tribute to King Ragnar Lothbrok, the legendary Viking king of the eighth century who led his warriors in the conquest and colonization of vast parts of Europe. The shield is constructed from sturdy wood planks, featuring a leather-rimmed edge painted and highlighted to mimic forged iron.

At the shield’s center is a heavy-gauge, hammered blackened steel boss with a weathered finish, evoking the scars of countless beardeds. The interior of the shield is a rich brown, boasting an oak wood handle wrapped in leather for a secure grip.
