A throwing axe wants enough head to carry itself to the target and a handle long enough to set the rotation, and it does not want a razor edge, a working edge sticks better and survives misses. Most throwers settle on a single rotation at around twelve to fifteen feet and adjust their distance rather than their throw.Ours are hand-forged from high-carbon steel and hung on hardwood.
