A kukri is a heavy chopper with a forward curve, which makes it awkward to carry and dangerous to carry badly. A fitted leather sheath is not an accessory here, it is the only thing standing between the belly of that blade and your leg. The traditional ones also carry the two small companion knives in the same sheath.
Handles, bolsters and what rides with them
Vegwarden is Damascus with an etched Vegvisir, black scales, a brass bolster, a ringed butt cap and a brown leather belt sheath. Sablecurve is sixteen inches overall with black scales, a steel bolster, an engraved Valknut butt cap and a sheath holding two companion blades. Hornstag is the 1095 one at sixteen inches with stag horn scales, a polished steel bolster and the same two companion knives. Trineknot and Olivewhorl are both seventeen inches in Damascus with brass bolsters, one in rosewood with an etched Valknut and the other in olive wood with an etched Vegvisir, both with leather sheaths carrying two companions.
