A roll is how you move more than one blade without either losing an edge or finding one with your hand. Each knife sits in its own pocket, the whole thing ties shut, and it travels flat. It is the sensible answer for a throwing set and the only sensible answer for a kitchen set that has to leave the kitchen.
Throwing sets and kitchen sets
Three throwing trios come this way. Thornflight is a set of three 1095 knives with cord wrapped handles and a leather roll sheath. Nightraven is three eleven inch blades in black coated steel with paracord grips. Stormknot is three eleven inch satin blades with an etched Valknut, again on paracord with a leather roll. The kitchen sets are larger. Hearthkeen is a five piece Damascus chef set in a kitchen roll, 1095 and 15N20 blades with walnut handles and brass bolsters. Hearthfold is the other five piece set, Damascus with rosewood handles, Vegvisir etched blades and a full tang build throughout.
The target sets are in throwing knives and the kitchen ones in chef knives. Rolls, belts and the rest are in accessories.
