Ransack Viking is a US company based in North Babylon, New York. Pieces are handmade in the Czech Republic, then imported, inspected and shipped from New York. Engraving is done in the US after arrival. This tag gathers the pieces where the hand work is the whole product rather than a finish applied to a blade.
Wood, slate and steel
Kingsflight is the board game, a walnut and maple hnefatafl set with a solid hardwood board, turned playing pieces and an Elder Futhark border. Thundermark is the slate one, a ten by seven inch riven plaque engraved with Mjolnir and a full Elder Futhark ring on a solid walnut display base. Two hafts show the woodwork on its own. Bindwood is a nineteen inch hickory bearded axe handle with Valknut engraving, supplied with a wooden wedge and a tin of finishing wax. Knotgrain is the two hand version at twenty four inches with Celtic knotwork engraving, two steel ring wedges and a wooden wedge. Wickthorn is the metalwork, a twelve inch candle holder with a hand twisted stem, a tripod base and a Valknut engraved foot.
