A camp knife is the one that does everything badly enough to be useful: splitting kindling, opening tins, taking the tips off tent pegs. It sits between a hunting knife and a small chopper, big enough to bear down on and small enough to keep on a belt all day. Every one on this tag is Damascus, forged from 1095 and 15N20 and etched so the layers show.
Handles, guards and what they suit
Campmaster is the traditional build, stag horn over stacked leather with a Damascus guard and butt cap. Hollowfell takes the same stag horn but wraps a hollow thread grip over a steel guard and bolster. Pakkacamp uses pakka wood, which is the sensible choice if the knife is going to live in a wet pack. Brasscamp pairs walnut with an engraved brass bolster, Rosecamp runs rosewood with a Damascus guard and a black spacer, and Olivecamp finishes olive wood against a steel bolster. Two kukris ride along on this tag as well: Trineknot and Olivewhorl, both 17 inches overall with brass bolsters, etched Valknut and Vegvisir marks, and sheaths carrying two companion blades. All of them come with leather.
