Display armour lives on a stand rather than a body, which changes what matters. Fit becomes less important and finish becomes everything, because the piece is going to be looked at from two feet away in good light for years. It also needs a mannequin and a corner, so measure the corner before you order the harness.
The suits and the single pieces
Nightplate is the full blackened harness, 18 gauge with articulated pauldrons, gauntlets and sabatons. Steelmarch is the bright version, a wearable 18 gauge plate suit with a visored close helm and articulated limbs. The two Japanese suits are the showpieces. Crimsonlace is lacquered steel lamellar with a full do, sode and kusazuri, crimson lacing, a brass plaque and a jingasa. Silkscale is the leather version in tan hide with cream cord lacing, a wide brim helmet, shoulder guards, tassets and thigh guards. For anyone with less space, Skaldplate is a cuirass with articulated pauldrons and a rune plaque, and Runeheart is a plain breastplate with chased knotwork.
