Handmade sword is a phrase worth being precise about, because almost everything sold online claims it. Here it means the blade was forged from bar stock, ground, heat treated, and then hilted and fitted by hand, with a scabbard made to that specific sword rather than pulled off a shelf. No two come out identical, and the fittings show it.

Overall lengths run 21 to 44 inches. The Norse pieces cover a Viking sword at 30 inches with a Celtic knotwork guard, a block pommel, a broad fullered blade and a linen scabbard, a short sword at 21 inches with a triple fullered blade and a ribbed leather grip, a falchion at 30 inches with an engraved valknut, a broad curved scimitar at 36 inches with a knotwork engraved crossguard, and a double ended sword at 44 inches with knotwork pommels at both ends, twin cord wrapped grips and its own wooden display stand. The knightly end brings an arming sword at 40 inches with an engraved arched crossguard and a tan grip, and one with a broad fullered blade and a triskele engraved disc pommel. The Japanese pieces are a Damascus katana with an engraved triskelion and a brass habaki, a Damascus katana with a triskele engraved guard, a Damascus ninjato with an angled chisel point, and a Damascus wakizashi with a Celtic knot engraved collar. There is also a Roman gladius with a blackened ridged blade, a brass hilted sabre with leaf shaped quillons, and an elven style blade with etched vine scrollwork. Steel is plain 1095 high carbon at 54 to 58 HRC or forge welded 1095 and 15N20 Damascus at 58 to 60 HRC. Prices run from 299 dollars to 649 dollars.
