Armour for events has to pass two tests. A marshal has to be happy it is safe, and you have to still be able to move at the end of the second day. That rules out most decorative kit and most costume shortcuts. Everything here is real steel or real hide, riveted or laced rather than glued.
Body, hands and arms
Nightplate is the rigid option, a blackened 16 gauge cuirass with an articulated fauld, runed buckles and a leather waist belt. Nightweave is the mail, a blackened hauberk cut to a forty eight inch chest and knee length in 9 mm butted rings in a 4 in 1 weave. The hands come two ways. Handwarden is a pair of forged steel plate gauntlets with articulated finger lames and knotwork etched cuffs. Ringward is the softer answer, chainmail mitten gauntlets with tooled leather cuffs and knotwork buckle plates. Wolfcrest covers the shoulders, veg tanned leather pauldrons with articulated lames and an engraved wolf head cap, and Stormcuff is the pair of black leather bracers with Mjolnir engraving and steel eyelet lacing.
The full range is in Viking armor, with the mail in chainmail armor and the rigid pieces in plate armor.
