Buying a longsword without a scabbard means the sword lives on a rack forever, because nothing generic will fit a 40 inch blade properly. Everything on this tag arrives with its own, cut to that blade, most of them leather over a wooden core with steel or brass mounts.
Lengths, pommels and guards
Grimhook is the largest, a 48 inch two handed blade with parrying hooks, a ring terminal crossguard and a black leather scabbard. Nightwhorl is a Damascus bastard sword at 44 inches with a long black leather grip and a lobed pommel. Beakcrown matches that length with a raven etched pommel and a second down swept guard over a brown scabbard. Valkhewn is 43 inches with hooked twin guards, an etched Valknut and a black scabbard. Palecourt runs 41 inches with an arched steel guard and a knot engraved shield pommel. Indigohilt is 40 inches overall with a 31 inch blade, a blue leather grip and matching scabbard, a brass pommel and an etched ricasso panel. Wolfcrown carries a cast wolf head pommel over an etched knotwork ricasso, and Crownflute finishes with a fluted crown pommel, a downswept guard and a steel mounted black scabbard.
The full range is in longswords, with spare sheaths in scabbards and sheaths. If this is a first sword, start with how to buy your first sword.
