A leather scabbard cut to the blade is what turns a sword into something you can pick up, carry and put down without thinking about it. Nothing generic fits properly. Every sword on this tag arrives with its own sheath, most of them leather over a wooden core with steel or brass fittings.
Norse, knightly and one fantasy blade
Barrowlight and Sunwake are the plain pair, both 35 inches overall with 29 inch high carbon blades. Sootbrand is the compact Norse one, 31 inches with a 24 inch fullered blade, a black oxide finish, a wire wrapped grip and a Valknut mark. Scrollward runs a flame bladed arming sword at 36 inches with a scrolled crossguard and a Valknut rain guard. Fanghowl is Damascus, with a cast wolf head pommel over a blackened ringed grip and a brown scabbard. Crimsonhilt is the crusader piece, an octagonal engraved pommel set with a red stone above an oxblood grip and matching scabbard. Manecrest is the short one at 26 inches with a 20 inch fullered blade, a brass lion head guard and pommel and knotwork etching. Elmshade is the outlier, a 43 inch fantasy longsword with a ribbed cord and leather grip over a hardwood core.
The Norse blades sit in Viking swords and the invented ones in fantasy and movie swords. Spare sheaths are in scabbards and sheaths.
