A hand forged longsword is the two hand European blade of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries: a long grip, a straight crossguard, a tapering double edged blade and a pommel heavy enough to bring the whole thing back into balance. Forged rather than stock removed means the blade was drawn out under a hammer from a bar, which is slower and produces a piece that is not identical to the one next to it.

Overall lengths run 41 to 48 inches. The longest is a two handed sword with parrying hooks on the ricasso, a ring terminal crossguard and a black leather scabbard. Next to it sits a 47 inch medieval longsword with a ring terminal crossguard and a two hand leather grip. The Damascus piece is 45 inches overall with a 35 inch blade, a quatrefoil cross guard and a cross laced leather scabbard. There are two named replicas at the top of the range, an Excalibur at 45 inches with a 36 inch blade and a Camelot king sword at 44 inches with a 35 inch blade. The rest cover a fantasy longsword at 43 inches with a ribbed cord and leather grip over a hardwood core, an elven style blade, a runic inscribed longsword, a knight sword replica, a piece with a cast wolf head pommel over an etched knotwork ricasso, one at 41 inches with an arched steel guard and a knot engraved shield pommel, a polished knightly sword with a cream cord grip and a triquetra shield pommel, and a flame bladed longsword that ships with a matching 15 inch dagger and rune etched ricassos on both. Steel is plain 1095 high carbon at 54 to 58 HRC or forge welded 1095 and 15N20 Damascus at 58 to 60 HRC. Prices run from 450 dollars to 695 dollars.
