Our choices of woods rang from Ash, Rosewood some burls and even Hemp wood manufactured in Kentucky and will make your personalized axe all USA manufactured. We can supply by your request many other woods by availability. All our woods are hand oiled and as all woods are natural and unique, they cannot be exact to each other textures and patters are unique to each log we use, but our quality remains throughout each piece of wood used. The wood we select carefully for you is chosen for you for its strength and its beauty.
Our axes can be customized to your demanding needs with elaborate wood carvings and personalized etching like family crests or any symbol you desire. Our process to create your custom design can be long due to our demanding quality standards that will bring you a product you will be happy with forever and create others for your family, or workshop. Each axe is accompanied by a natural leather sheath hand made to fit each axe shape.

I purchased this cross and axe from ransackaxes. I was somewhat affraid to make the purchase . They told me the purchase would be a few weeks as I ordered one that was out of stock. The box showed up yesterday I was excited and opened it and my expectations were exceeded. Everything about it was better then I expected the wood was beautiful the axe head was beautifully done engraved as well as the cross , the leather wrap on handle was tight and made it easy to hold. I immediately went outside to a stump

I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend and he really, really loves it. It is heavy, sturdy, and beautiful. Even the leather cover it comes with is lovely. There are details in the burl wood the handle is made of that are unique and I can tell great care was made selecting and working the wood. My boyfriend is in love with it, and after seeing it here on etsy I really fell in love with it too. Thank you so much for making such a unique piece of art, it is a tool i know we will be using for our lives and perhaps an heirloom for the future. The only constructive criticism I can give is that the metal engravings do not stand out much, but I think they do darken with age and oiling. Order early if it is a gift, as a lot of work goes into this!

From a quality standpoint, this ax is very nice but doesn’t have quite the same level of detail on the ax head that the pictures show. Service was fantastic. I requested engravings on the ax head, which were incorrect when I received the ax. After contacting the owner, he sent me a completely new ax with the correct engravings free of charge. Overall, I’m really pleased with the product!
